Joint Operation

Situation: A Georgian chemical storage facility has been overtaken by terrorist opposition forces. Task Force Roughneck will deploy a small team to retake the facility. 

vCENTCOM air assets are being tasked to assist ground troops.

Threats: AAA, Shoulder fired SAMs

Rules of Engagement: Civilian collateral damage is not authorized.

Tasking 

- VMFA 225

Primary - will conduct Strike Preplanned Strike a Outpost Facility.

Secondary - Will conduct SEAD Operations

- VMA 223

Primary - Will conduct Area Denial Operations on Primary LZ in Preparation for HELO 

- 1st Battalion (AH64D) 

Primary - Will Conduct clearing operations of troops and Vehicles on target objective prior to troop arrival.

Primary - Conduct insertion of MARSOC team on primary or secondary LZ.

- VF 74 

Primary - Will conduct CAP for responding air support.

- 25th Fighter Squadron

Primary - Will conduct Armed Recon outside of objective area to destroy Enemy Quick Reaction Forces prior to them reinforcing facilities.
