Operation Fabergé

Situation: Alpha Company 3rd Ranger Battalion was conducting an exfil via helicopter when Syrian forces attacked and destroyed multiple helicopters leaving several platoons stranded. 

The rangers have been under sustained attack for at least 2 hours. 

CENTCOM has authorized and immediate rescue operation which will be supported by multiple units.

It is also known that a Russian carrier has been given to the syrians and outfitted with airframes, which is now a threat to the carrier group.

1/82 - Will conduct a convoy escort through hostile terrain of multiple Convoy's from separate routes.

2/82 - Conduct multiple MEDEVACs into HOT LZ's.

25th FS - Conduct Close Air Support of 1/A/3/75.

480th - Conduct deep strike on enemy SEAD positions

225th/VFA 41 - Conduct Anti-ship operations against enemy carrier

VF74 - conduct strike package on enemy HQ's to disrupt command & control

VMA 223 Destroy known enemy FOBs.
