    Mission: Operation Golden Horse The United Nations has set up several Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) and Combat Outpost (COP) along the Georgian Border with Russia. Due to recent hostile actions by Russian forces the United Nations is preparing to defend Georgian forces. Russian forces are conducting "maunuevers" near the border. Task: 25th FS - Conduct Armed Patrol of multiple Area of Operations to support FOBs & FARPs, prepared to conduct CSAR. 2/82 - Conduct Troop insertion to Multiple FOBs & COPs, Be prepared for MEDEVAC and CSAR. 1/82 - Conduct ISR of MSR's ensuring Russian Forces do not cross the border, engaging any target that does. 480th FS - Conduct CAP prepared to intercept any bombers or CAS aircraft threatening NATO forces VF 74th - Conduct CAP for fighter aircraft which pose threat to NATO Forces. VFA 41 - Conduct CAP for Carrier Group Protection, ensuring the Safety of the U.S. Carrier Group. VMA 223 - Conduct close Air Support Operations for NATO forces.     Mission Briefing: There is a civil war breaking out in the Georgian region. CENTCOM has been tasked to provide units to support the Georgians. CENTCOM has dispatch MAG-11 and CVW-17 on the USS Theodore Roosevelt along with 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade and 18th Operations Group. The squadrons in play are VFA-41 VMFA(AW)-225, VF-74, VMA-223, 1st 82nd Battalion, and 25th FS. We have been tasked in protecting a convoy and ensuring its arrival for medical and military aid. So far what we know is that the Russians are supporting the Civil War providing advanced weaponry and armor. The insurgents do not have any air or helicopter assets however we are unsure where Russia stands as it denies all claims to supporting the insurgents. However, the insurgents did take over a civilian airport and are housing there armor and weapons there. We have to tread carefully and protect civilian and Georgian lives.
